Privacy Policy

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us.

• Booking requests. When you request a range rental, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the details you enter on the booking form. For instructor rentals, that includes your NRA instructor certification number, its expiration date, a photo of your certification card, your class type, number of students, which ranges you want, and confirmation that your liability insurance lists A Place To Shoot Inc. as an additional insured.

• Messages. If you contact us through the site, we collect your name, contact details, and your message.

• Basic site data. Like most websites, our site host (Wix) automatically records technical information such as your browser type, device, pages visited, and approximate location based on IP address. This uses cookies and similar tools that keep the site working and show us how it's used.

We do not collect payment card information online. Rental deposits and balances are paid by cash or check, or at the gate.

How we use it

• To review, confirm, and manage your booking

• To verify instructor certification and insurance requirements

• To contact you about your booking, including deposit details, changes, or closures

• To answer your questions

• To keep the site running and improve it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Who we share it with

• Wix.com, which hosts our website and booking system and stores the information you submit. Wix's privacy policy is at wix.com/about/privacy.

• Others when required. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our customers, staff, or property.

How long we keep it

We keep booking information for as long as we need it to manage rentals and keep normal business records, then delete it.

Security

We use the security tools provided by Wix to protect your information. No website is completely secure, so please don't send us anything you aren't comfortable sharing online.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Call (661) 296-5552 or write to us at the address below. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Some parts of the site, like booking, may not work without them.

Do Not Track

Our site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Minors may only use the range with a parent or guardian present.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date above.

We want everyone to be able to use our website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we review the site as we add pages.

Terms of Use

By using this website, you agree to these terms.

Website information. Hours, prices, range availability, and rules can change, and the range may close for weather, fire danger, or other conditions. We try to keep the site current, but please call before you drive out if you're unsure. If the website and the posted rules at the range disagree, the posted rules and staff instructions apply.

Using the range. Use of the range is governed by our range rules, the waiver every shooter signs at check-in, and the directions of our staff. Nothing on this website replaces them.

Bookings. Rental requests are not confirmed until we confirm them by email. Deposit and cancellation terms are shown with each rental and in your confirmation.

Our content. The text, photos, video, and logos on this site belong to A Place To Shoot Inc. Please don't copy or reuse them without our permission.

Links. We may link to other websites, such as maps. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

No warranty. This website is provided as is. We are not liable for any loss that comes from using it or relying on its information, to the extent the law allows.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
